vRP servers tend to be modified deeply. The framework has been forked and rewritten many times over the years, so two vRP servers can differ far more than two QBCore ones. User identifiers, inventory handling and permission groups are the usual places where a stock resource needs adapting.

If you run a fork, treat framework compatibility as a starting point rather than a guarantee, and expect to map a handful of calls onto whatever your own build actually exposes.
